Ghost Barn Dancer

This was origially shot for a spring flower exhibition. I thought the flower resembled a daner with a front leg out and wearing coat tails with arms in motion. The ghost barn in the titles comes from the etsy shop where I bought the miniature vase.

Newnan High School

Taken during a Newnan High School football game this is one of my favorite sports photos I've personally taken. I like using black and white for sports photography because I think it can tell more of a story and draw the focus entirely to the action in the shot. For this particular shot I was attempting to isolate just the quarterback in the frame and highlight him on the field during his drop back.

Phoenix, AZ

This was taking at a conference. I fell in love with the backdrop in which the model was posing in front of. I commissioned the artist to paint me a replica canvas backdrop, but I wanted to remember the color so I snapped this of the model in a few minutes. It became one of my favorite photos.

Smyrna, GA

This was one of the first photographs I took while testing my new Moment 75mm lens in my own yard. A bumble bee became an unexpectedly cooperative subject as it worked its way into the flower on my hibiscus bush. I was immediately struck by the depth and clarity the lens captured - the pollen scattered across the bee, the detail in its body and wings, and the way it seems almost three-dimensional against the flower, so alive.

It was photographed with my iPhone, and seeing this image convinced me that this new lens was going to open up another way of exploring the tiny world around me.
