I was hiking with my mom in the Red River Gorge a month ago. We buried her two weeks ago. One of my Mom’s best friends (my second mom from my childhood) photographed some moments from that day. It was a blurry and full day, and I’m grateful to have these images to help me process this shift in the foundation of my being.
