This month officially kicked off our current photo project: Milestone Sessions! This project was born out of a realization that I’d reached a huge milestone in my career as a bo***ir photographer, and I wanted others to be able to share their own proud moments and growth.
Our very first session happened a couple of weeks ago with a client that has gone through a LOT of change since we last saw each other in 2020. The purpose of these Milestone Sessions is to champion, in the form of photos, the various milestones and changes that have you feeling very proud of yourself.
These changes of course can be painful, and often are, but this project focuses on the positive parts of those changes, encouraging a sense of pride in whatever it is that has molded you in the last 10 years.
For this specific session she came in celebrating a 50th birthday (and looking super hot while doing it!!!), being a kick-ass single mom, and surviving the incredibly difficult task of becoming her mother’s full-time caregiver in the nature of memory-care.
It was an honor to celebrate and capture these images for her!
