In a time when everything is so fast paced it seems like we don’t get to appreciate the little moments that make life so special.

Here is a few images of mother helping her with the final touches on her wedding day. They share in this moment while the bride is being dressed in the jewelry that her mom wore on her wedding day and her mother before her. This is the culmination of 3 generations of weddings, ending with a final image of the ring that her grandmother wore.

After almost a decade as a photographer and roughly 500 weddings, I’ve never had a ring radiate the way this one did in the last image. Personally I am choosing to think of it as a sign that her grandmother was there with her on her wedding day.

With a family so rooted in tradition I know that someday she too will take the same photos with her daughter on her wedding day.
