ISO a photographer to co-shoot my best friend's wedding with me and my fiance on July 20th, 2019 in Stowe, VT. As a traveling wedding photographer train and plane hopping around the country most weekends of the year, it’s an absolute gem to be able to wake up in my own bed, have breakfast on the porch, and wander over to photograph a wedding in my amazing city of Atlanta. And at one of my very favorite venues, no less! The Solarium is a beautiful, light-filled historic space that draws some of the most lovely, creative, laid-back couples I’ve had the joy to work with. Lilyana & Chris’s were no different - their wedding celebration was calm and sweet, centered around their adoration of each other and the friends and family they love.

My brand new website for wedding photography is out in the big wide world this morning! Over the past several years, I’ve had the honor of photographing over 150 weddings all over the country and across the world. This sweet small business has given me an incredible life balance, a home and homestead I love, space to be out of an office and in nature each day, and an outlet for my love and passion for artistic storytelling. Once a year around my birthday, a beautiful red flower called diamorpha blooms and fills the craters that pocket the rocky expanse of Arabia Mountain just outside of Atlanta. I visit this space often throughout the year when I need to feel grounded, and there have been countless times when I've found a deep solace in it's granite landscape. Loving thanks to Anne & Brandon for allowing me to photograph their love in a space that roots and inspires me.

Did y’all know that I’m a birth photographer, as well as a certified childbirth educator and doula-in-training? In between shooting weddings, I’ve been exploring a passion for supporting women in pregnancy and childbirth for almost two years. I’m honored to have added a section to my website today, showcasing some of the photography I’ve been doing around this work.
