Just a little proof of life post 💕
Ever since getting back home from New York, when this photo was taken, this summer has been fast + slow all at once. The days are bleeding into one another and lots of memories have been made, from NY down to Key West. I honestly have just been in survival mode in more ways than one, but it feels impossible that the new school year will begin in a little over 2 weeks. Our last of the elementary school years approaches and I know it's going to be so bittersweet for us.
Busy season will slowly ramp back up, and tbh, that's bittersweet, too. I don't want to be outside sweating my butt off, but I also really love the building anticipation of it all because it mainly means that Fall is closer! (Aka cooler weather bc Atlanta got me like 🥵 right now!)
This summer has been pretty slow compared to previous years, so while it hasn't been my most profitable season due to many different factors, I'm so thankful for the rest and for my husband's job that's able to sustain us during my slower seasons.
Ryan and I will get to celebrate our 14th dating/together + our 13th wedding anniversaries at the end of the month as we say farewell to summer. 💕

My hope is that I can gather the energy and time to post more photos (I have SO. MUCH. to share!) on my static feed here once I get my ducks in a row soon (that's the goal, at least lol), but either way, I cannot wait to dive back into work soon. 🥰

Grace + Romil | One Year 🤍
These two have so much of my heart. They are not only some of THE coolest people I know; they're some of the sweetest people I've ever met. From their wedding day in ATL to a year later on the streets of NYC, what an honor it is to be apart of their love story. 🥹
I can't even believe it's been one whole year since we celebrated their union with one of the best, absolutely lit parties ever! It was my first time ever shooting film at a wedding, which became a marked turning point in the way I document stories.
Thankful for clients and friends like Grace + Romil, for trusting me to photograph their love. They are literally a dream and never cease to effortlessly remind me of my "why", the reason I do this job. 🤍

What a year with film it's been.
This thing has grown into something so wild and good for my soul, and it's reawakened a sense of wonder that had become desensitized by the commercialized side of my industry over these last few years. My only regret is that I hadn't started exploring and shooting film sooner, but I can't change the past. Not sure when or if I'll ever start charging for film, but I'm in no rush to do so. For now, it's for fun and for myself, and that's more than enough. ✨

It's such a vital, tender moment to get to snag some moments just for mom + dad at the end of my Autumn Minis with families, to properly honor + remeber where the story began. ✨
