It’s kind of disheartening for me to do this because in my hometown it would’ve been a big turnout and I would’ve been more than happy to see everyone’s faces due to the low attendance and a couple models canceling at the last moment I’m not gonna take this as defeat, but I’m gonna take this is as a lesson to go harder and try better.
Being here in Atlanta has been the best experience I ever have and still have to this day to meet creatives and people who are very passionate makes me very happy and I’m still willing to give it a try. I’m not leaving nor am I giving up on my dreams to be the best that I want to be
But I will say this we’re in Atlanta. There are too many creative people here to not see an opportunity, especially if it’s a free opportunity that comes with a free portfolio and I’m coming out of the pocket to provide the material to help you stand out. I don’t give me wrong to some of the models, I spoke with I understand you’re more focused on pay gigs. That’s totally understandable. I want you to get paid. what you deserved but let me be real with you looking at my work. I wanna get paid what I’m deserved too, but coming from a whole different city. I have to play the game as well. I have been in magazines. My work has been posted on buses news networks and plenty more with my name stretched on the title but yeah I still stay humble and don’t let my ego get the best of me until my work is on TV screens magazines working with artists and celebrities or high-end fashion labels. I am still working in Progress. I’m not going to downside anybody’s work or their potential just because you got paid for a few gigs and still, nobody knows your name by heart again I’m not throwing shade. I’m throwing facts get what you’re owed and due and deserved. I want you all to succeed, but I refuse to allow somebody’s ego make me feel less than and I stay humble because I don’t know who I will walk into the room with who could propel my career and my lover photography to a different level so let that cook and marinate
