Behind those eyes is a whole lot of love with nowhere to go yet. DeKalb County Animal Services is full of animals ready to meet their person — could that be you? I was able to visit there last week for and found out they have 1000 animals looking for adoption, including this little darling.

I can't think of a better way to spend Juneteenth than working on these images. Yesterday, I traveled with the Georgia Innocence Project () to Hancock State Prison to photograph the release of Marquez Powell. Marquez was wrongfully convicted of a murder he did not commit in 2008. After 20 years in prison, he was finally fully exonerated and released yesterday. I've been a friend of his attorney, Christina Cribbs, for many years, and I've often seen her work from afar. But being able to see what her team does in person and experience all the emotions that come from the culmination of years of hard work is something I'll never forget. Please support the Georgia Innocence Project and the life-changing work they do.

Thirteen never looked so good! William's birthday party had all the VIP vibes. From the VIP passes, "cash" for merch, and sparklers and fog entrance, to the dance off and hoops contest, this was the event of the year.

This is 13! William's birthday party was everything a basketball-loving teenager could want, complete with "merch"! Custom shirts for each guest, and airbrushed basketballs and hats. So cool!
