Man, what a wedding season it has been so far. It’s been busy, chaotic, beautiful, and everything in between, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ve been embracing every moment, every challenge, and every incredible story I’ve had the honor of documenting.

For $350, you’ll receive a 45-minute session designed to capture this season of life exactly as it feels right now. Lauren and Austin’s session was a reminder that the best photographs aren’t always about perfect poses, they’re about connection. Between dodging little crabs on the beach, laughing together, and soaking in one of the most beautiful Jekyll Island sunsets I’ve seen all season, these two made the entire evening feel effortless. There is a certain kind of beauty that only appears when you stop searching for perfection.…

Karrington has always been so special to me, and I was beyond excited to photograph this season of life for her and her husband.

We originally had a completely different concept planned, but once I arrived at The Paris Market in Savannah, something shifted. Since it’s where they did both their pregnancy announcement and gender reveal, I found myself leaning more into storytelling than anything else.

A lot of people know me for my editorial style, but I equally love documentary-style photography and capturing real, candid moments. For this session, I wanted both. Beautiful photos matter, but I also want my clients to feel something when they look back on their gallery years from now.

I stepped outside my usual editing style for this one and trusted the feeling of the session instead of chasing perfection. It was refreshing. Every couple, every story, and every gallery is different, and that’s exactly how it should be.

The photos don’t just look good, they feel like them. And honestly, that’s my favorite part.

I struggled with my website for SO long. Honestly, there were moments where I almost hired someone else to do it for me. But I’ve spent years practicing graphic design, learning my way around templates, and figuring out how to bring my vision to life in a way that feels true to me.

After countless late nights and reworking things over and over again… I finally launched my website completely on my own.

And truthfully? I’m so proud of it. It feels so aesthetically cohesive to my style, my work, and the overall experience I want my clients to have.

Now I’m sitting here wondering… maybe I should start building websites for other photographers too.

A little update regarding weather and session reschedules 🤍

I wanted to make this post because I never want anyone to feel confused, frustrated, or unheard when weather becomes an issue around their session date.

When you book a session with me, I know you’re taking time out of your schedule, requesting off work, planning outfits, coordinating family members, traveling, and getting excited for your photos — and I truly do not take that lightly. At the same time, I’m also blocking off time in my schedule, traveling to locations, preparing gear, and reserving that time specifically for you.

As a photographer, my equipment is not only extremely expensive, but it’s also how I provide for my family and run my business full-time. Shooting in heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions can permanently damage cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, memory cards, and more. Beyond the gear itself, severe weather can also create unsafe environments for clients, children, dresses, hair/makeup, and outdoor locations.

Because of that, moving forward, if there is a high chance of heavy rain or unsafe weather during your scheduled session time, I may choose to reschedule the session to protect everyone involved and to make sure you still receive the best possible experience and images.

I completely understand that reschedules can feel disappointing or inconvenient. I truly do my best to accommodate everyone fairly and kindly, especially on days where I have multiple sessions scheduled back-to-back. If most sessions are needing to move due to weather, I have to remain consistent across the board so that everything stays fair for all clients.

If a client still chooses to continue with a session despite weather concerns and conditions become unsafe or impossible to photograph in once I arrive, the session may be canceled without refund due to the reserved time, travel, and preparation involved.

Please know this policy is never coming from a place of being difficult or uncaring. It’s simply about protecting my business, my equipment, my time, and making sure every client receives the quality experience they deserve.

I appreciate every single person who supports my small business more than you know, and I’m always grateful for your kindness, understanding, and flexibility 🫶

Ellie graduated in style ☀️🤍

Running around Tybee Beach with this sweet girl was such a dream. Between the salty air, soft skies, and golden light, everything about this session felt so fun and carefree. We laughed the entire time and created the prettiest coastal senior memories together.

I’m usually a darker, more contrasted editor, but for Ellie’s gallery I added some softer pastel tones because it matched the beachy vibe so perfectly. I’m honestly obsessed with how beautifully these colors came together 🤍
