Life is pretty full and my cup is even more full, but in between it all, I get to do this every now and then. I really need to share more on here and at this point, I feel like a broken record, but I’m so thankful to be in a season of life where I’m all in for my children and have the opportunity to choose special weddings that bring so much fulfillment. This couple was no exception and I absolutely adore them. More to come (if I remember, haha)!

South Florida, here we come! So excited to head “home” for a few weeks! There’s truly no place I love shooting in more. The colors, the water, the light, the energy, the people… give me all of it! Well maybe except for the humidity and heat, 💦😅.

From a recent and sweet wedding in Michigan. You guys, I never put my camera down or away because of moments like this 👆🏻. Had I not been prepared, I might have missed this simple moment where the wind swept her dress and veil and turned it into a beautiful moment. 😅

Anyone else struggle with captions? My go to is posting quotes but other than that, I’m all, meh. Recently, I’ve realized that this is the main reason I post so rarely and I remember feeling the same way about blogging towards the end. And the ironic thing is I love to write! Since having kids though, I just feel as though my thoughts happen in my own head or through conversations with my husband and close friends and that I share less and less here. And that makes me sad. Kind of. Sometimes. Not really, 😂. But what truly makes me sad is not posting enough of my work from feeling pressure of captioning with thoughtfulness or vulnerability. Sometimes, I just want to be like, “here is a photo of water with pretty light that looks good in my feed and breaks up all the wedding stuff.” Ya feel me? Anyone else? How do you guys fight through the captionitis?

Hi, there! In the past, I’ve let this space be a place where I can just share my work and be inspired by others but I always love learning a bit about the person behind the lens so I thought I’d start sharing tid bits here and there.

My name is Diana but my close friends call me Dee. My parents call me “Dia” (pronounced Dee-ah) and my husband calls me “babe”. I rarely hear my actual name so feel free to call me anything (that’s nice, 😂).

In college, my roommate and best friend could not function without coffee. I told myself I would never get like that. See that thing in my hand? Yea, that didn’t work. I drink 1-3 cups a day, depending on my workload/night and am 100% dependent.

In July 2017, we moved from south Florida to Georgia and we are loving it! It hasn’t always been that way because change is hard for me, and I never imagined I could (happily) survive away from the ocean, but turns out seasons are pretty grand too and this state really is as sweet as a 🍑.

For the first time in my adult life, I have a workspace I can call my own! It’s a work in progress, but here ☝️ is where I tackle emails and editing, while wrangling (i.e. read “love on”) my two kiddos.

Speaking of, I’m first and foremost wife to an amazing man and two just as amazing babies, who are in fact no longer babies but still my babies, you know? My family is my world and they come first always.

I’ve been shooting weddings for 7+ years digitally and I’m now picking up a film camera for the first time. 😅 I’m taking my time learning this new medium and excited for all that lies ahead! I’ve loved the look for far too long but as I said, me and change don’t always agree, so it’s taken me a while to finally just yolo it (yolo... remember when that was cool?). Basically, send all the tips my way!

I vowed to be more active on instagram & considering my last post was 11 days ago, I’d say I’m not doing so hot. 🙄 But I’m gonna set my alarm and try again! Ha!
