These are the photos that make me fall in love with photography all over again.

The ones where I stop playing it safe.The ones where creativity takes over.The ones that don’t just document a moment… but create one.

Editorial bridal sessions will always have a piece of my heart because they give space to experiment, to slow down, and to see beauty differently. Movement, composition, light, texture — it all becomes intentional in a completely different way.

And honestly… there could not have been a more perfect backdrop than The Swan House in Atlanta. Every corner feels cinematic. Historic. Romantic. It’s the kind of place that instantly inspires you to create something timeless.

Give me good light, a little movement, and some fun shadows and I’m instantly inspired.

I’ll be in Charleston twice this week, once for an engagement session and once for a bridal session, and honestly I’m so excited for this slower season ahead. Spring was beautiful and so incredibly full, but I’m thankful for a little breathing room again. More evenings at home, more time with my family, and slower mornings in between all the editing and traveling.

This season always reminds me how grateful I am to do what I love while also building a life I love outside of photography too

And of course… Charleston never disappoints when it comes to dreamy light and beautiful little corners to photograph in.

Give me all the color 🌸🍊🌿✨

Neutral weddings will always be timeless, but there’s just something about a colorful wedding day that feels so full of life. The bold florals, playful details, vibrant bridesmaid dresses, layered tablescapes… it all photographs so beautifully and brings so much personality into a gallery.

I get genuinely excited when couples lean into color because it makes the entire day feel joyful, intentional, and uniquely them. Color tells a story just as much as the moments do, and it adds so much depth and energy to your photos.

It’s no surprise Charleston feels so deeply aligned with my brand 🤍

Timeless architecture, soft coastal light, classic textures, and just the right amount of color woven into every corner of the city. Charleston weddings have this effortless elegance to them that constantly inspires me as an artist.

With all the new Charleston wedding bookings we've seen in the last few weeks, my heart is happy. I never take for granted that couples trust me to document such meaningful seasons of their lives in one of my favorite places.

Every time I photograph here, it feels like coming home creatively. The historic homes, the quiet streets, the gardens, the movement, the light… it all feels so true to the kind of imagery I love creating most. Light and airy, timeless, emotional, and full of connection.

Charleston really never disappoints...

Getting to wander the city with Will + Madi felt like showing old friends around one of my favorite places. These two are planning the sweetest intimate Charleston wedding next year, and after this session, I already know it’s going to be such a beautiful weekend.

The jasmine was blooming, the light was perfect, and every little corner of the city felt straight out of a movie. But honestly… when does Charleston not show out? 🤍

So grateful couples continue to trust me to document their stories here, especially when they’re traveling in from places like Atlanta to celebrate in a city they love.

It’s my first day off in over 6 weeks… and wow what a start to 2026 🤍

Wedding weekends nonstop.
Senior sessions 2–3 times a day.
Early mornings, late nights… and so many moments in between.

It’s exhausting in the best kind of way.

And honestly… thank you to the rain for forcing me to slow down today ☁️
I’ll be spending the entire day editing and getting more galleries out to you all (which I know you’re waiting on ).

I’m also really proud of myself this season—
keeping sessions at a one week turnaround
and weddings at a one month turnaround.

Because I know how much these photos mean, and how excited you are to have them in your hands.

This is what I love.
And it only happens because of you.

To every couple who trusted me with their wedding day,
every senior who stepped in front of my camera,
and every single person who shared my name or sent a referral…

thank you doesn’t feel big enough.

Why a veil matters.....

A veil adds movement, softness, and just the right amount of drama to a bridal portrait. It catches the light, frames your face, and turns even the simplest moment into something that feels elevated and timeless.

And if you really want to take it up a level… bring more than one.

I love when my brides bring multiple veils to a bridal session or wedding day. A shorter veil gives us something classic and effortless, while a long cathedral veil creates those sweeping, editorial-style images that feel straight out of a magazine. It gives us variety without changing your entire look, and that’s where the magic really happens.

Some of my favorite images come from those in-between moments when the veil is moving, lifting, wrapping, catching light in unexpected ways. It’s not just an accessory, it becomes part of the story.

If you’re planning your bridal portraits or wedding day details, don’t overlook the veil. And if you’ve been debating bringing a second one… this is your sign.
