Since returning to Atlanta, it seems the rain hasn’t stopped, and to be honest, I kind of love it. It reminds me of Chelsea and Jon Michael’s wedding last year. It’s—by far—the rainiest wedding I’ve ever photographed, but Chelsea reminded me of a few things without even knowing it:
- We can’t change what is in front of us, but we can embrace it.
- Rain makes a ceremony that much more romantic (especially under mossy oaks).
- SC sunsets in the rain are unmatched.
- Daddy’s little girl can bring him to tears even if he doesn’t expect it. 🤍
- Mom’s dress being repurposed for her daughter’s reception dress is iconic.
I’ll never forget this day. Regardless of visibility, spirits never waned; and that’s my kind of wedding.
