I will always say that being a photographer isn't just about taking pictures or making money. It's about the friendships and connections you build along the way. Sometimes, if you're lucky, those clients become family.
I've been photographing this family for several years now, but this year felt different.
For so long, they were a family of five. This year, there was a missing piece of the puzzle...the biggest piece. Brandi's husband, Bill.
It felt strange not having him there to make us laugh. There was never a dull moment when Bill was around. His presence was one of those things you could always count on, and his absence was deeply felt.
As we captured these family photos, I couldn't help but feel that he was still there with us, watching over the family he loved so much.
Bill, you are forever missed, forever remembered, and forever loved. 🤍🕊️
