This girl is in charge. She sits on this branch and guards her feeder. When she spots another hummingbird flying in, she launches into action and chases it away! I'm thinking at this point I need to name this bird.

Horse portraits! Last weekend I drove around a bit looking for something interesting to photograph. I decided to stop by a horse farm I frequently drive by, Derby Talk Farm. It was nice to see these animals up close!

During yesterday mornings sunrise I used my phone in addition to my camera. I hadn't had time to go through my camera pics until today, and the camera definitely captures exactly what I saw. I don't normally take photos in the near dark, but now I know why they call this "blue hour".
