Maternity sessions are designed to be gentle, unhurried, and full of intention, a sacred space I hold for you so you can simply be present. As the only full-service Athens maternity photographer, I guide you through every step—from planning your session to pampering you with professional hair & makeup and a Client Wardrobe full of gorgeous dresses. From there, we design custom heirloom artwork for your home—so these fleeting moments become something tangible you can hold onto forever.

No one really tells you the hard part.
That sometimes pregnancy isn’t glowing or magical or joyful at all.

Full transparency? I didn’t want to be a mother.
When I found out I was pregnant, I was angry. I was terrified. I grieved the version of myself I thought I was losing. I felt disconnected from my body and unsure how to welcome a future I didn’t recognize yet.

And I know now—years later—that I wasn’t broken.
I was human.

Antenatal depression is real.
Struggling to accept pregnancy is more common than we talk about.
And none of it makes you a bad mother.

If you’re in this season and it feels heavy, confusing, or lonely—there is nothing wrong with you. You still deserve gentleness. You still deserve care. And you still deserve to be remembered in this chapter, even if it doesn’t look the way you thought it would.

You are allowed to become slowly.
You are allowed to feel complicated things.
You are still worthy of being held with tenderness—exactly as you are.

A typical question - do I have to have my whole house clean for an in-home session? Absolutely not, mama! Who could expect a new mama to have her home photo session ready days after giving birth - that's crazy.

While we can take photos in any room in your home that you are hoping to, I'll give you a tip - the best photos come from the rooms with the best NATURAL light. Whether that is the nursery, your bedroom, the living room, or even the kitchen.

For example, this nursery had amazing light, so we did the whole session right here! The nursery is a perfect spot to document baby's first photoshoot.

The newborn days don’t have to be all quiet and calm—they can be full of laughter, too. ✨

This in-home session was pure joy: big sister squealing with laughter as dad swooped her up, mama cuddling baby close, and even the golden retriever cozying up right alongside them. 🐾💕
