And that’s a wrap, UGA Grads. ❤️

I just finished photographing my last University of Georgia grad session this morning, and closed the UGA grad chapter of my business officially today. Thank you to my wonderful UGA grads for an amazing 10+ years. It’s been an honor serving you all, and seeing all the incredible things you’ve accomplished post grad over the years.

Thank you for everything, what a fantastic decade! See y’all around in Roswell, Atlanta, etc. 🤍

Hello friends, just updating y’all to say that I have officially moved out of my downtown Athens office in the Michael Brothers Building- my creative headquarters for past four years!

I have made many wonderful memories here meeting great people and clients that became friends. I’ve edited over 100,000+ photos in this building since 2018 from grad shoots, weddings, Redcoats and UGA events, and so many other great things. Turning in my keys last month was bittersweet, and I will miss sweet 320 E. Clayton Street and all of my great office mates.

With that said, I will be selling my second business, Downtown Athens Georgia LLC, and it’s respective Instagram accounts, and . These accounts took my photography business to the next level in Athens, and helped me connect to so many amazing businesses and clients over the years. Since I don’t live in Athens anymore, it’s time for me to pass on these accounts and business to the next owner that will benefit from them hopefully even more than I did.

Potential buyers, please email me at [email protected] if interested.

Much love Athens, and I’ll see you soon for my last UGA grad season starting soon! (I am fully booked for this season- thank you everyone!)

Hi pals, photo updates- I’m no longer booking grad shoots/portrait sessions on weekends. I’ll still be booking portrait sessions on weekdays, and booking weddings and events on the weekends.

I also will not be booking UGA/Athens area grad shoots after March 15th, 2023. Moving forward, I will only be booking Atlanta and Metro Atlanta area grad shoots on weekdays.

If you have a grad shoot booked on a weekend currently, I’m grandfathering you in this new policy, so don’t fret. ♥️

Thank you for all the love and support over the years with my business, and respecting my new policies and boundaries! I am so grateful. 🤍

Natty bound. Go Dawgs, Go Redcoats. ♥️

It's been awhile, friends. A couple of quick things! First, to inquire about a photoshoot, please email me at [email protected]. I no longer respond to DMs on any social media accounts for photoshoot inquiries. Please reach out via email anytime!

Second, I am fully booked for March 2021, April 2021, and the first week of May 2021. It is surreal typing this, and I am still processing 2020 and temporarily closing down if I'm being totally honest. Either way, I will continue to book Spring 2021 grads throughout mid-May/summer, so do not hesitate to reach out if that's an option for you post-graduation.

Thank you for all the love and support in the past year. I hardly post on social media anymore because my hands are very fortunately tied up with work. I also am practicing disconnecting from my phone/social media more and being more present offline, which is a conversation for my personal Facebook, lol.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a healthy and happy start to 2021, and see you guys around so soon :)

OPEN FOR BUSINESS // NOW BOOKING- details:

Hi guys, I am reopening my photography business today and now booking outdoor, single person and couples sessions. Please shoot me an email at [email protected] to book a portrait session.

To my spring clients, thank you for understanding my choice to close this spring. I am grateful for your patience as I navigated making many unexpected hard decisions with my business, and I cannot wait to work with you guys. Thank you for booking me for 3 weeks solid from today’s date- I am beyond grateful. Future wedding/event clients, please reach out anytime if you have questions/updates.

I continue to pray for those who are battling coronavirus, and for those who lost someone to this terrible disease. My heart is also with the incredible frontline workers that fight day in and day out to keep everything running and everyone safe. With that said, yes, I’ll be wearing a mask during shoots, and following CDC guidelines as I navigate reopening to respect those mentioned above, and keep to those around me and working with me safe.

I look forward to a great summer of shoots and capturing good things, and what’s to come.

To the UGA 2020 grads:

Graduation looks a little different this year. Actually, this whole semester was a little different, to be entirely honest. Classes were online, coffee shops to study in were closed. Students were separated from friends and told to stay home. And wow, Downtown Athens became a ghost town without you guys here.

For the seniors, this semester was supposed to be filled with parties, final gatherings, and fun nights out with friends before going into the real world. The final celebrations were cut short, and it almost felt like this semester didn’t even happen at all.

Yet, you guys figured it out. You had study dates on zoom calls, you made battle stations and study desks in your childhood bedrooms at home, and you got maybe a little too much takeout from your favorite restaurants during those stressful nights of studying in these new spaces. There were grad photos taken on front porches of homes, and virtual parties taken place on FaceTime calls. You guys lifted each other up virtually when it got hard, too. Somehow, you guys turned this whole mess into something beautiful.

And now you’re here. You did it. You put the hard work in all these years, and did your best in this whirlwind of a time, and you made it through the final tests, papers, assignments. You are now a graduate of the University of Georgia. No pandemic can ever take that from you.

So from the bottom of my heart: Congratulations, grads. I cannot wait to see so many of y’all run through the arch and downtown soon enough. Stay safe, stay healthy, and go get ‘em out there. -c.

Hi friends, I’ve updated my portfolio for the first time in years, and I am excited to share some fresh work from late 2018-2020. Here’s where you can see everything that I’ve uploaded: http://www.marszalikphotography.com/pagep

This has been such a lovely way to pass time during quarantine while staying home and staying safe. Going through years of old photos has re-inspired my love of photography and why I enjoy my job so much, and also made me realized how truly blessed I’ve been to work with so many incredible people over the years.

I have decided I want to make this a yearly tradition, so I can reflect upon the good people and times that I’ve captured.

Anyways, final note- if I photographed you from the years 2014 through mid 2018, please reach out to me if you have a favorite photo or two that I’ve taken of you. I didn’t do the best job keeping my images stored safely, so I didn’t have those galleries to look through while doing my update. Please email me anytime with your favorite snaps, and I’ll put them up on the website- I don’t want anyone to think I forgot them or didn’t care about them.

I can’t wait to get back out there and start shooting again in better times. Thanks for reading & all the love, and I hope you guys stay safe and healthy.

Excited to share that I’ve officially opened up the Downtown Athens print shop! Here’s the link to my first series of photos – Spring 2020 – “The Sunrise Collection”:

I shot these photos recently in an abandoned Downtown Athens before sunrise, alone. I learned in this experience that even in difficult times, our city is not only resilient, but also beautiful. I hope that you guys enjoy this series of photos, wherever you may be enjoying them.

I am working on the next collection of photos, and cannot wait to share them with you all so soon. Thank you so much for the love and support with my photography business, friends, and I hope that you guys are all staying safe and healthy.

A few samples from my 2020 work that I love, shot before the pandemic.

From engagement sessions around the state, to portraits shot in my beautiful Athens, to a few fortunate grads that I got to work with before the outbreak, lovely families, and everything else in between… it’s been a wonderful year. I am truly so grateful for my wonderful clients that bring me so much joy with every session.

I am looking forward to reopening in a couple of months once things are safer, and continuing to capture many more beautiful memories to come. Thanks again for your understanding clients, and I’ll see you soon once this all blows over.

I love you, friends. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay home.
