Hi! I’m Valerie! The creative business owner behind Valerie Callan Photography. People often think Callan is my last name, while it is my middle name and eldest daughter’s name, Vaughan is my last name. It’s 100% always spelled wrong (that extra “a” really perplexes people).
My current coffee order at home is a Nespresso vertuo Strawberries and Cream pod with some vanilla real milk creamer. It’s hitting those summer notes.
I’m currently listening to a very not appropriate for class audiobook, for which I am not going to divulge. But walking around with AirPods in at the grocery store feels very scandalous right now.
If I had to grab a favorite camera right now, it would be my Fuji Klasse w because it has a half used roll of portra 400 on it and needs to get shot for film drop off this week!
Green has always been my favorite color. My Grandma DJ loved it too and I’m drawn to the color subconsciously all the time. My newest baby, a 1988 bmw convertible just got a new malachite green paint job, and I’ve just added a gorgeous green backdrop to my studio thanks to the talents of Sara Bywaters-Baldwin
My girls are all headed back to school in less than two weeks and while we have had the best time all summer, this mama needs some time to catch up on my editing!
