DAY 2: WE’RE ON WEST GREEN! 📸💚

The First Day of College Photo Booth Tour continues at Ohio University, and today we’re hanging out on West Green!

For the 4th year, A-Roc Entertainment is traveling around campus helping Bobcats capture that official First Day of College memory.

Students can step into the booth, take their photos, walk away with a printed photo strip, AND instantly send the pictures to their phones through our built-in text messaging system.

That means Mom, Dad, family, and friends back home can get that first-day-of-college picture too! 📲💚

OHIO UNIVERSITY OPENING WEEKEND WAS A VIBE!

Party at Ping officially kicked off the new school year, and the energy inside Ping Center was incredible!

🥁 The Marching 110 Drumline brought that legendary Bobcat energy with an AMAZING performance.

The Ping Center and Bobcat Well-Being, Ohio University team kept the crowd moving with contests, activities, and plenty of Opening Weekend fun.

And a huge shoutout to Matt Simmers for keeping the party going and dropping the beats all night!

There’s nothing quite like the energy in Athens when thousands of Bobcats return to campus. 💚🤍

Replaced my Chauvet Flex Stand bag with something twice as nice for HALF the price!

Unfortunately, the original Chauvet bag failed on me just 3 months after purchasing it. When you’re constantly loading in and out of events, your gear AND the bags protecting it have to be built to work.

Instead of buying the same bag again, I went custom.

Big shoutout to Moore’s Auto Upholstery for building me a heavy-duty custom bag for my Flex Stand. Better materials, better construction, and made to handle the abuse of being on the road—all while costing about half of what the Chauvet replacement would have cost.

Sometimes the upgrade isn’t the more expensive option.

Now it’s time to put this thing to work. 💪🏾

DJX 2026 was a different kind of journey for me this year.

Instead of just attending the show as a DJ, I walked into DJX as a product manufacturer.

This year, I had FOUR custom ROC Booth video DJ booths displayed across THREE different vendor areas at DJX Show (DJ Expo).

What started as me simply building a custom DJ station for myself has grown into an entirely new side of the business—designing, building, testing, and developing a product specifically for working DJs.

Did I sell a booth at the show? No.

But sometimes success isn’t measured by what you sell that day.

I made new contacts, received some great feedback, built new relationships, and most importantly, introduced more of the DJ community to what we’re building with the ROC Booth.

The concept was simple from day one: Build a professional DJ booth that looks like a real piece of furniture without sacrificing mobility.

No folding facade. No table covered with a scrim.

Just a clean, professional video DJ booth designed to become part of the event.

And when it’s time to move?

Unlock four wheels and GO.

DJX 2026 was another step in turning an idea I built for myself into a product DJs around the country can put to work.
