Emmie Cate and Richard’s wedding at Athens Country Club felt like one big exhale after watching the weather app all week.

It rained off and on all day, but every moment that really mattered stayed perfectly clear. Which felt very fitting for a day where the best part was simply having everyone together in one place.

These are two of the sweetest families, and you could feel that in every part of the day. A massive bridal party, guests packed in ready to celebrate, and the kind of energy where everyone genuinely wanted to be there. And Emmie Cate… every detail felt so personal to her. She’s an artist and designed so much of the wedding herself, which made the entire day feel layered in a way that was really special. From the invitation suite to the custom touches throughout the reception, her style was woven into everything so gracefully!

The silk scarves for guests might still be one of my favorite details. Such a fun nod to Athens with little illustrations of places meaningful to them woven throughout.

Also, a surprise Redcoat Band entrance at the reception is hard to beat.
Just a really good day with really good people. The kind you leave feeling lucky you got to witness it.

Perfectly curated details and a pink + green color palette that officially has my full attention. Playful and refined at the same time, with every little layer feeling extremely thoughtful. The draping, the paper goods, the florals, the textures… all of it worked together so well.

Alex and Amelia really said if we’re doing custom details… we’re doing custom details.

Their monogram showed up throughout the reception in a way that felt thoughtful instead of overdone, which honestly is the sweet spot. The kind of detail that quietly ties everything together and somehow makes the entire design feel even more personal. Proof that the little things are rarely actually little at a wedding.

Katie and Jack’s wedding at the Swan House in Atlanta felt like the kind of day you wish you could bottle up and revisit later.

They’ve known each other basically forever. Family trips, childhood memories, growing up side by side… the kind of history that makes a wedding feel less like the start of something and more like everyone finally getting to celebrate what’s been there all along. In the middle of such a beautiful day, one of Katie’s favorite moments was a quiet one.. standing inside the Swan House, looking out the window as guests arrived and taking it all in before everything began. Later she told me it was one of the sweetest moments of her life… seeing everyone she loves gathered there for them.

Their whole day had this fresh garden party feel to it without leaning too hard into the theme. Soft greens and pinks, layered tablescapes, thoughtful draping, and the kind of design details that felt elevated while still feeling true to them both. absolutely nailed that balance.

Also, Jack might officially win “most polite groom.” The amount of “yes ma’am’s” throughout the day honestly deserved its own feature.
A Swan House wedding in Atlanta that felt joyful, personal, and very, very easy to love. Cheers to The Finnegans! 🥂

There’s nothing better than a dinner on a porch. And in downtown Charleston at The Parsonage, it just screams a perfectly southern wedding. This layered tablescape, so perfectly placed, is the kind where no one’s leaving anytime soon!

Some really sweet bridal moments from my time at one of the newest venues in Athens, Georgia… The Garden. Honestly, when a wedding planner and a wedding photographer partner to revamp a space, you just know it’s going to be a good one.

I had so much fun exploring the property and capturing some really beautiful corners of it! Such a good addition for couples planning their 2027 wedding here in the Athens area.

These two and this day overall felt straight out of a romance novel. Soft, a little dramatic in the best way, and the kind of portraits that feel just as considered as the story behind them. Add in the Swan House and it’s giving film, not just wedding.

If a garden party and a painting had a very well dressed baby… it would look something like this. The Swan House is already a statement for any Atlanta wedding, but bringing in a palette like this completely shifts the story. It softens the space, warms it up, and turns the entire reception design into something that feels less like a backdrop and more like a moment.

There’s nothing quite like a wedding morning.

A little bit of chaos, a lot of people talking at once, someone running on coffee and vibes (most definitely me) and somehow everything coming together exactly when it needs to.
