Interrupting your Easter doomscroll for some INCREDIBLE, breath-taking, bad ass art that was created during the Bo***ir at the Bookstore event last Sunday. I am still living the high from being surrounded by books and baddies 😄
Ms. H was absolutely incredible to photograph; her energy and personality made her a dream to work with. She truly reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
Also, I now need to either a) Build my own personal library to shoot with or b) come back to LEBC -immediately-

Soo many of you asked for the details about the Bookstore Bo***ir event…which tells me something:

You didn’t scroll past it.
You didn’t roll your eyes.
You pictured yourself there.

So let me hold your hands while I ask you:

Are you waiting for the “right” time?
For more confidence?
For life to calm down?
For permission?

And if you’re still sitting with it, that’s okay.

It’s completely normal to hesitate on something like this. It’s vulnerable. It’s different. It’s not an everyday decision.

This event is going to be unreal. With that dark academia, slightly witchy, main-character energy you don’t get in a regular studio.

For one day, Lake Erie Book Company turns into a candlelit Midnight Sun set for women who are done shrinking themselves.
Vintage pages.
Heavy shadows.
Lace against old spines.
Dark academia with a little menace.

This isn’t a mini.
It’s not rushed.
And it’s definitely not “something cute to try.”

This is a fully curated Midnight Sun experience. It’s moody, intentional, and a little dangerous in the best way.
It was built for the woman who:
• invests in herself without asking for permission
• wants art, not trends
• doesn’t need a milestone to justify feeling powerful
• trusts her intuition when it gets loud

It’s for the women that are done waiting for the “right time” because let’s be honest…when something pulls at you like this, it’s not random.

So, this is me shooting my shot. I'm going to hold your hands while I say this:
I need you to come over so I can make you feel like the most powerful woman in existence.

And by come over, I mean come to my studio. Don't make it weird. It's a new year, and I need to update my website to show off more recent work. I am opening applications for a few ladies who are comfortable with having their images added to my website (anonymous shots are also acceptable, and your name will not be used) in exchange for a waived session fee and discounted images.
