The past few months have been a bit of a whirlwind! Between summer vacations, school starting, changing jobs, and these wonderful people sprinkled in between that I get to photograph...I have been busy. I love getting to meet all the wonderful new dance instructors at Momentum Dance Academy, Taylor only hires the best and have loved everyone that my own daughter has had! If you've considered getting your kiddo into dance, highly recommend their studio!

Included here also is a beautiful family I got to photograph at their 40th wedding celebration. I may have even teared up at one point at all the love in the room and was so grateful to be in the presence of it!

Getting to know so many wonderful people through this photography journey has been by far the greatest joy. Thank you all so very much for allowing me to be a part of capturing those treasured memories 🧡

Second year shooting Momentum Dance Academy recital photos, and it was a dream. The teachers, the dancers, the parents…everyone is so amazing to work with and had so much fun! I have to call out Taylor Heckmeyer, the owner and mastermind behind the dance studio. It has been so amazing seeing where she has taken the studio from just a dream to where it is now. The actual recital last weekend was AMAZING, a real production and treat for everyone who attended. So blessed to be a small part of it, truly fills my bucket to the tippety top! 🧡

This was one of the busiest and MOST fun weeks I’ve ever had doing photography. 12 hours total shooting, 160 dancers, so many moments of pure joy. Thank you SO much to Momentum Dance Academy for allowing me this opportunity to photograph all your amazingly talented dancers. Definitely a highlight of my photography career and cannot WAIT to do it again next year!!!!!

I am so very VERY behind on sharing these, but a while back I had the privilege of doing headshots for my LOVELY friend Samantha at Regeneration Salon & Spa and wow what fun day that was! If you’re looking for a salon for all the things: hair, nails, brows, lashes, massage, good conversation…look no further, go to Regeneration. Samantha Woolridge is the co-owner and has won best stylist in Columbia in the past. She is incredibly detail oriented, talented, and genuinely cares about the work she does as well as the team she hires to run the salon. What an amazing group of people!

Thanks again Sam for allowing me to do these for you, can’t wait to do more!
