"Evening Light"
You're almost always guaranteed to see a spectacular sky either right before or immediately after stormy weather. My favorite of the two is golden hour at sunset, which was when this picture was taken. I love how the light from the setting sun highlights the edges of those dark and moody clouds in the distance. PNW sunset at it's very best!

"Golden Hour at the Golden Gate"
I was thrilled to get up early to catch this beautiful sunrise in San Francisco (taken in the fall of 2021). The morning fog blanketed the city, but it quickly warmed up with a soft orange glow as the sun began to rise. The silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge in the foreground was an extra added bonus to this shot. Not a bad way to start the day, eh? 😉🤙

It doesn't get easier..... you just get stronger.
This past week I fought my battle with Covid. I'm not going to lie, it was tougher than I thought it would be. As I continue to rest and recover, I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and words of support. Truly appreciated.🙏
I can't wait to get back out there and shoot amazing sunsets! This one was taken a few years ago. The super low tides reflected the skies soft tones and colors for miles and miles. May your day be blessed! Take care and stay safe out there!

I'm looking forward to getting back out to the coast to experience more beautiful sunrises like this one! Living in Southern Oregon has its advantages. From here I can travel north up the coast of Oregon, or head south and tour the northern California coastline. Both are very scenic drives. But, which route would be your favorite?

🌎 Happy Earth Day 🌎
Muir Woods is a very special place. Here, visitors can walk among the beautifully tall and visually stunning redwood trees. In this particular scene, I loved how the trees crisscrossed over the cooling waters of Redwood Creek. It looked so peaceful. I thought it would be a perfect capture to share with you on Earth Day. Let's love and respect our planet, so that more of us can experience nature's beauty for generations to come!

Olivia and Maci are loving our morning nature walks around Ashland. We're seeing many beautiful flowers, and making new friends with local squirrels and deer.
