A little newborn education today 🤍
This sweet pose is one of my most requested newborn setups, but it's important to know that this image is a composite image created from two separate photographs. Baby is never supporting their own head or left unattended during this pose.
A parent or spotter is always within arm's reach, with hands on baby for safety, and those hands are carefully edited out during the final retouching process. Newborn safety will always come before getting the shot.
Also, if you've been seeing a lot of seniors on my page lately, don't worry... I still photograph newborns! 😊 This senior season has been such a blessing, and I haven't even shared all of those images yet. But newborn photography remains one of my favorite things to capture, and there is nothing sweeter than preserving these tiny details before they change.
