Photography for me is less about freezing time and more about listening to it. I seek out landscapes where nature reveals its rhythm—subtle or forceful—and try to meet those moments with stillness, intention, and patience. This image, captured beneath Scripps Pier, reflects that process. I arrived hoping for a calm ocean and golden light. What I got was tide, spray, and movement—and in that, a deeper kind of beauty. ‘Scripps Pier in Motion’ is a reminder to embrace the unexpected and let the moment guide the frame.

Love this pier and definitely, one of the most photographed sites in San Diego. Nothing better than watching the sunset set over the Pacific. So peaceful and serene. 🌅
