Tom Hurlbut received his classical training in photography from the University of Connecticut where he earned the distinguished Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. His study of fundamental photographic principles including color harmony, composition, lighting, and alternative film techniques led to his passionate pursuit of custom printmaking. He is respected by his colleagues for his technical expertis

e of contemporary darkroom methods, and offers lectures on the subject to aspiring photographers. Tom serves on the boards of the Professional Photographers of New England and the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association, where he has exhibited his award-winning artistry. He has earned the title of Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America. The artist continues to refine his artistry by attending seminars with some of the world's most influential wedding and portrait professionals. And in his spare time, Tom has served the community as a Big Brother, and actively supports the mentoring program at a local high school, and donates his services to the VFD and other civic groups. My holiday Sponge Candy arrived from Lenzart (the Buffalo folks who turn my images into beautiful printed portraits!). I had a piece with a hot cup of coffee. The best! You bite a piece, take a sip of hot coffee and the inside just melts!
