Our favorite part of Arches National Park may surprise you.
Yes the arches are beautiful, but the drive through the park made our jaws drop.
The landscape changes quickly and often, offering new glimpses of this desert ecosystem.
The Courthouse Towers at the start of the park blow your mind with their scale and shape.
Luckily there are several pull offs for you to park and pick your jaw up the floor before snapping a photo.

Oh hey Utah!
We spent the day conquering Arches National Park. .
As a smaller park, Arches can be seen in 1 day, but those looking forward a more leisurely experience can stretch out their adventure over 2 days.
While there aren’t many long hikes in Arches, there are many short, rewarding walks, and of course lots of naturally occurring arches!

We wanted to get closer to the mountains of Northern Spain, so we did.
There are many amazing trails throughout Picos de Europa and we chose Bajo Los Picos.

We decided the best views of San Sebastián were from above.
But really there’s no bad view.
We hiked up Monte Urgull, a fantastic in the heart of town, that is home to La Mote Castle from the 12th century.
You can explore this small fortress and take in views of the below and the breathtaking in the distance.
