Last few mornings have been foggy in Redmond/Kirkland area and I had this specific composition in mind, that is only possible with fog.

I wanted to capture the pier extending into nothing. And fog makes that possible by hiding the clutter and creates perfect nothingness. Luckily the fog lasted till the weekend and getting this shot was the first thing I did today morning.

What a dramatic sky it was, the day before yesterday. Planned to shoot the sunset last minute. The clouds didn't catch as much colors, but I still loved all the drama. Took a long exposure instead and it looks quite calming and soothing.
And this is actually a 3 shot Panorama.

Posted this image a few days ago on my page. Now I have it in a large canvas print hanging on our wall.

For me, this pictures has all the elements of the beautiful Washington state. The iconic Mt Rainier, the evergreen trees that gives Washington the status of the Evergreen State, numerous lakes, foggy mornings and beautiful summer skies.. 😍 If you look closely, there are even tiny hikers in it. 🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️👭

In my Work From Home setup, I have one monitor in vertical orientation(the other one is in landscape). And since I love having my own images as wallpaper, I applied the recently shot Sunset picture as a wallpaper on the vertical monitor. (Apparently, you can have different wallpapers on each monitor in Windows 🥰)

I am loving the beautiful gradient of this sunset running across my screen 😍 😍 😍

I finally went out to hike. My first one for this year and I was greeted with such amazing views. Mount Rainier is my favorite place in this beautiful state 😍😍😍
