As a photographer, when it comes to my own family photos, I always end up taking matters into my own hands and do the photo session myself, for shots with me in them, I just set up my tripod and use the timer on my camera. Anyways, this is one of my favorite photos of my youngest son with my husband on Kiawah Island. It was one of those moments where It was completely a moment captured on a whim and naturally I started snapping away. My children will always be my favorite subject, and this one definitely went into a frame and graced our family photo wall. Enjoying time with my family during the slow season and hope you all are too! Wishing everyone warm winter wishes

Home for the holidays and going through a box of old family photos, dating back to the late 1800’s and this truly is something I enjoy! Love learning where I came from and every picture tells a story, even if this wasn’t a box of my relatives pictures I would still enjoy looking through the photos and learning about them. This is why I became a photographer, it’s not only an art form I enjoy but photos are frozen moments in time that help us look back on moments we wanted to capture and remember, true treasures of our lives. Will always enjoying being the one behind the camera, the story teller if you will. If you ever find old photos in your garage or attic, don’t ever throw them away, even if they don’t belong to you. They were treasures to someone and they tell someone’s story! ❤️my family was definitely a horse family.
