In 2024, I discovered a newfound confidence in my work—and in myself. This was the year that everything clicked. Prior to this, taking the leap to collaborate with other photographers always felt like a daunting challenge. Attending events, I would often be overwhelmed by the “what ifs,” letting self-doubt creep in and convincing myself I wasn’t good enough.
But 2024 changed all that. I was surrounded by so many incredible people who not only supported my work but truly uplifted me. Their encouragement, especially from photographers who have been my role models for years, gave me the boost I needed to step into my full potential. Their words of affirmation were more than just kind gestures—they were catalysts for growth, propelling me into a place where I could truly shine.
I’ve learned that those “what ifs” still linger, but they no longer hold me back. While they sometimes lead to burnout and make me question everything, one thing is certain: I can’t imagine my life without my photography business. The joy and excitement I feel from each session, the connections I make, and the stories I get to tell through my lens are what keep me motivated and inspired.
