Exciting news! After experiencing minor hurricane damage to the customer entrance, we are thrilled to announce that we can finally reopen our doors. We were incredibly fortunate, unlike some of the properties nearby, and we are grateful for your patience and support during this time. Like everyone in this area it took days to recover power, then phone service, and we now have drinking water. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Hey everyone,
We wanted to update you on our ongoing efforts to clean up after the hurricane with large logs from fallen trees still hindering our customer access. All customer equipment is safe as is our building except for the customer entrance door which should be repaired as soon as workmen are available. Water, landline phone and internet are still not available but we can be contacted at [email protected] We are working hard to restore everything to normal, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. My son was cleaning his camera and had gotten the shutter /mirror off track and was unable to get it back together properly. He takes photography for the sports programs at UNC Chapel Hill and was so disheartened at having to send it off for repair and the time lapse involved. He had checked with another local camera shop in Asheville and was told to expect weeks before it could be addressed and repaired. He texted me and said he found Crystal Camera Repair online and that there was good reviews. I went by there last Monday, explained the problem, and the technician onsite was able to make the repair while I waited. The hospitality and customer service was simply perfect. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to do so this time after such a pleasant experience with this business.

A few months ago, we shared a chart showing how sales the camera market have changed between 1947 and 2014. The data shows that after a large spike in the
