RW Photographics Asheville, NC based Creative Portrait Photographer. A self-taught talent, Russ is constantly pushing himself to grow through experimentation and persistence.

Although his work encompasses a variety of styles, he most enjoys being behind the camera, looking through the lens to capture mere fractions of a second... creating narrative and environmental imagery that tells a story, and then sharing that story with the world. He continually asks "what if?"

It went like this: “hey, you know that awesome fly mask you made? You want to shoot a film noir thing with it? Or maybe something even more ridiculous… if I can find a fly swatter, maybe we can do a do******ix, pin-uppy thing. You in?”

“Yaaas.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how instant friendships are made.

Give it up to for that kick-ass mask, sick posing and being willing to go a little bit mental with me in the studio!!
