Wishing .grimes the happiest of birthdays today! My first real AVL friend (after my move) an incredible connector of people, one of the biggest cheerleaders you'll ever meet, a selfless, loving mother, a constant encourager of silliness, master curator of whimsy. Thank you for all of the ways you show up for your community, the ways you teach and share your knowledge and curiosity, and for always being in my corner. I have learned so much from you, and I know others have too. We love you and I truly don't know what I would do without you. Thank you for doing life with me.

The recurring themes in my life right now are all telling me to speak up. To share my words, my thoughts, my vision, but there are so many things swirling around in my head, where do I even begin? With all the digital noise out there, who would even listen?
I'll tell you what's on my mind: I'm tired. I'm tired of no change. I'm tired of people not being held accountable. I'm tired of seeing people being taken advantage of. I'm tired of the toxic spiritual community. I'm tired of seeing practitioners/fascilitators/influencers claim 'if this is you, you need xyz, and I'm gonna tell you how' bllsh*t. I'm tired of blanket statements. I'm tired of people practicing performative spirituality while simultaneously bashing on performative spirituality.
All of this makes me not want to put myself out there, but it's probably the number one reason I should.
