Sunrise vows on a mountaintop, waterfall portraits with bare feet, and an intimate from a private chef with their favorite people — Bailey + Daniel’s Blue Ridge adventure elopement was incredible! ✨

We started the day in the dark with headlamps and hiking boots, reaching the summit just in time for first light. After an emotional vow exchange and coffee picnic on the peak, they explored Setrock Falls together before joining loved ones for an intimate riverside ceremony and a delicious meal. 🌿

Happy Mother’s Day.
To the new mamas who are still figuring this thing out. To the mamas with young kids who just want to p*e in peace for once. To the mamas of teenagers who aren’t sure who this sassy young adult in their house is. To the mamas who’s babies are headed off to college, wondering where the time has gone. To the mamas of adults, who are maybe having babies of their own, for whom the role of “mom” has shifted entirely.
To those who aren’t mamas yet, but who want so desperately to be. To those who had motherhood thrust upon them before they thought they weren't ready. To those mamas who have lost babies, or children, or adult kids, who don’t know if they can be called a mother anymore.
Happy Mother’s Day. This day celebrates you. Your heart, your sacrifice, your willingness to give of yourself again and again, no matter the cost. You keep the world moving, growing, exploring, inventing. YOU are the true hero’s of society. Today we thank you.
