A multiple-alarm blaze erupted at a junkyard on Pond Road off Brevard Road, sending heavy smoke into the air and throwing Biltmore residents into a frenzy. Fire crews from across the region responded quickly, working to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading.

What we’re left with is a police force that demands NBA pay but delivers WNBA protection.

And now we’re expected to give them their days, months, and social posts celebrating the jobs they signed up to do?

From $17 Million Athletic Field to a Dog Park-

A $17 million upgrade at Memorial Stadium Park has devolved into the state’s most expensive dog park. Residents treat the new athletic turf like an off-leash free-for-all — despite rules that clearly prohibit both s*x offenders and unleashed animals at all parks. Rules to protect children.

It’s disgusting that some in the community think it’s acceptable to reduce a public turf athletic field into a dog run. Children warm up there. Soccer Athletes scrape their knees there. People train, stretch, and do cross-fit in those same spots — yet this is somehow acceptable?

And when someone finally speaks up for the rules, the their life grinds to a halt, — not because of the violators, but because the whistleblower gets called out for sticking up for the rules. If this is what we allow, where does it stop?

As millions pour into upgrades at McCormick Field — a mostly white pastime of beer, brawls, and ballgames — Carrier Park still sits wounded. Hurricane Helene tore apart the riverside playground the community had just rebuilt, yet the city’s priorities remain crystal clear: sports over spaces where families gather.

These priorities don’t just appear out of thin air. They feed the contractor Goliaths, intertwined with our politicians, who profit from ballpark deals while community spaces are left behind.

Point Proven — This is what happens when you don’t bow to groupthink, point out the obvious and see what you see: now I can’t even like my own post. Think about that. Now I’m out here whining about it like a little bitch, my feelings.... so hurt — but the truth is simple: if you fight with suppression, you’re already controlled.

Supporting cancel culture in 2025 isn’t “progress” or a Left or Right thing. It’s extremely anti-American. Freedom of speech means tolerating expression you disagree with — otherwise, it isn’t freedom at all.

Asheville Anarchy — This is why both sides are fed up with the pig-tyrant police in this town. This is what destruction of property looks like in Asheville: someone can shoot up cars in a peaceful neighborhood with kids nearby and walk away. No arrests. No news coverage. No outrage. No questions asked. But since it’s not a wealthy neighborhood, it doesn’t matter.

Meanwhile, we’re told AI cameras guard every corner of our city and autonomous drones — flying under extremely rare FAA clearance to operate beyond visual line of sight — patrol from above. Yet people don't feel safe, and clearly, it isn’t working. Instead, these same tools are used to squeeze taxpaying residents over lapsed insurance or other financial hardships after Hurricane Helene.

Replacing now would be like trading your old clunker car for a unicycle. It’s not pretty, it’s not reliable, but hey, it still gets you to work… eventually. Yes, locals don't like what Asheville has become.... but this is the peoples choice.

But ? That’s a whole different gamble. You’re endorsing a meme-cancelling anarchist who wants to govern Asheville with fear-based scream therapy and endless social media posts. So Trumpesque! She’s so desperate and out of touch to “relate to the people” she rides the city bus like it’s a campaign prop. Kinda like Trump in a drive thru?
