Just trying to be real for a moment. Because this was majority of 2025 for me. Pretending to be okay when I needed love, and often found a void instead. I am bleeding still but trying to build from the wreckage. For myself, for my son. The future is unclear yet I remain without surrender. I can't imagine that it is any harder than what I have endured this far.

Saturday! Newton, NC come out and see all the wonderful artists* that are part of this gallery, and buy some if you can! This Sunday will be the last day for the exhibit, so come get a look while you still have a chance!

*except me, not because of my social anxiety this time, hah, but because I unfortunately already had a prior commitment in CLT during that time frame.

The past few months have felt like drawn out years, and it has been an emotional terror and it has taken a mental violence to keep standing in midst of memory of the trauma. In the vulnerability of it all felt myself crack and fall to the ground. Yet, still I am grasping to find something beautiful. Some reasons to keep breathing in darkness of night when sleep doesn't come but the nightmares continue to plague.

This is the darkness at the end of the road. I've not shared but a droplet to instagram my work but I appreciated the responses I've got over the last couple years. Unfortunately, Life has way of not turning the way we want and this will be my last post. The darkness prevailed but there are stars to be seen inside of it.
