Im just over here editing and had to pause to share this one.

I uber love private vows. They are intimate and sacred. I wholeheartedly believe they allow a couple to really slow down and feel each word written to each other.

My baby's napping, my eldest is doing school work, my youngest is watercolor painting and Iʻm in my editing marathon mode. If you know me then you know that I don't play when it comes to turnaround time lol your gallery will always see you very soon.😉 🌿

Another beautiful wedding weekend!

One day I’m at a wedding, the next I’m taking my kids to a drive thru to feed animals and pet longhorns. And I think that pretty much sums me up as a person when I think of fun lol I tried my best to convince my hubby to let me take him home. Maybe one day. 😪

You’ve seen it. I’ve seen it. Let’s talk AI.

Since I have seen it so much lately, I wanted to piggyback off of it and make sure my clients are aware that I personally do NOT use AI.

I will say, When i first downloaded it, I did a few trends of photos of myself but it felt very impersonal and my “antennas” and discernment went up rather quickly. An AI app now has no place on my phone.

I do not use AI to write captions, cull through images, plug images into some sort of AI editing software, make ad posts (this is easily made on Canva), I don’t make Myself look different etc. I also feel DEEPLY that your children do not deserve to be put through any AI edit.
It would probably make my life a lot easier but in my opinion what would honestly be the point anymore.

As a young girl I’d watch my mom out on the porch, canvas on easel and mason jars filled with dirty water, paint brush in hand carefully swaying back and forth, pausing to critique, sun on her skin, inspiration in her eyes from the mountains, worship music literally radiating in your chest. You couldn’t convince me that there was a more rad human than my mom (MawBear) pouring her heart out on a canvas plastered with tar. Yes, tar. That was her signature.

When I take your photos part of it is that soul bursting creativity but then I go home and that’s where the whimsy really comes together and I get to make your images come to life. I get to make them mine, for you. Knowing that each edit came from my heart out from my hands. Now you don’t get to see me in my late night bow patterned pajamas jamming to country faith and I may not be as picturesque as my momma and her folk art paintings while she got down. BUT I’m making this post so you know that nothing could bring me more happiness than handpicking and hand editing your images with tired mom eyes.

The only time I use AI is to remove things from images which is hard to avoid because they’ve integrated it into what I have used for five years.

And that’s literally it. No special exit. Xx 💋
