We’re taking a brief pause

Hello all! It’s been a really insane 6 months in the Hicks household and we’ve made the decision to step back for bit and recenter our focus inward.

What doesn’t this mean for you?

1. I’m still here, feel free to follow my personal page (dm for that) or reach out via my cell for coffee, tea, or just collaboration.

2. My former clients galleries will be going off line in two weeks, check your inbox for details on how to get all your files from me!

3. Gratitude: I’m so grateful for what my business gave me and is still giving me as she’s taking a respite. I’m sad to not be out there this spring creating, collaborating and thriving - but there is a season for it all.

This is my see you later post for weddings and elopements for 2026, and a goodbye post to my canon gear.

If you’re an artist you know your tools define your style in many ways. For me testing canon created a creative identity crisis. My Sony sat on the shelf and it felt like a part of me did to, so I’m going back to my older less flashy gear and enjoying slow, creative, and present photography.

As always you’re each a part of my incredible journey thus far, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
