One of my favorite things about intimate weddings is how much time couples actually get to spend with the people they love.

Lucy and Cole’s wedding at the Rose Garden in Raleigh felt relaxed, personal, and completely focused on what mattered most: getting married.

Here are some things I used to pray for that I now have !!!

1. A Godly Husband who loves me unconditionally!
2. A son who loves the Lord and has helped me through some of the darkest days.
3. A daughter who has a relationship with me like I had with my mom.
4. A photography thriving photography business.
5. Time freedom without financial constraints.
6. Time for self care and my health
7. A personal relationship and walk with the Lord. (This is something I’m still working on, but over the last year it has become stronger and it will continue to grow)

I used to think success was a Louis Vuitton purse, a new car with all the bells and whistles, getting to 6 figures in my buisness, but it isn’t. None of those things matter, the most important things are the things that sometimes we take for granted ❤️

My brain is an a**hole sometimes… and maybe yours is too. 😂

The way we talk to ourselves matters more than we realize.

Because when we constantly think negatively about ourselves, question ourselves, or tear ourselves down… it impacts everything.

Our confidence.Our relationships.Our businesses.Our ability to actually go after the life we want.

One thing I’ve started doing when I catch myself spiraling into negative thoughts is asking myself:

“Would I say this to my kids?”

And if the answer is no… then why am I saying it to myself?

We can’t keep speaking to ourselves in ways that keep us small.

That’s actually a huge part of what we’re diving into inside the beta round of Made for More.

When you trust the photographer with your location. You are probably going to a field in the middle of no where, where you have to jump 4 fences, cross 3 busy highways, and fight off at least 12 mosquitoes for the photos of your dreams 😂

The biggest thing that changed my life wasn’t a strategy… it was my mindset.

I didn’t realize how much I was holding myself back by the way I spoke to myself every single day.
“I could never afford that.”
