I was told in early spring that Lightridge HS Softball was good enough to win a state title.
In Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles says hype is something that isn’t real - but that he’s all real. So was this team.
They played for each other, they encouraged each other and they played some serious ball. From blowout wins to one of the greatest playoff games I’ve ever covered, this team had it all and made for tremendous highlight reels. Congrats to all of you and very special thanks to Jimmy Thomas and Jason Treon. Thanks for letting me and my cameras ride with you all the way to the state championship game.
