I captured this image at Red Canyon, which is located near Bryce Canyon National Park. Someone forgot to tell the land that it is not part of the national park, as it has stubbornly remained just as scenic the land within the park.

I've been wanting to shoot at this location for a while, so when interesting clouds started developing, I decided to head here. The clouds didn't disappoint and were better than I could have imagined at sunset.

It was completely overcast and rainy the whole day, but something told me I should still go out to shoot. And sure enough, the sun emerged from the clouds and a rainbow came out about 10 seconds after I turned my quadcopter on.

Northern Lights over ... Moab?

I never thought I'd see the northern lights over Moab ... and technically I still haven't. All I saw was a faint glow that was at least partly light pollution from Moab. But my camera picked this up during last night's geomagnetic storm. The yellow is light pollution that I evened out a bit in the clouds. The pink glow is the northern lights, which I didn't alter.

These were the best photo conditions I had during a month in Utah. I almost missed the shot, as it was completely overcast all day. I only noticed the clouds breaking up at the last minute, so I flew my drone until I found a good foreground and got this shot with about 10 seconds to spare before the light faded.

I originally planned to photograph farther up this valley but clouds blocked the view. So as I started landing my drone, I decided to take a wide pano here. Turns out, Norway is so scenic that you could probably shoot blindfolded and come away with good images.

I captured this big stitched image from a DJI Mavic 3 while staying in Oslo at the beginning of my Norway trip. It's still tough to get night photos in nature from a drone, but it can produce remarkable results with the extra light from the city.

I took this image 6 minutes after the previous image I posted. A trail guide said it would take two hours to get there, but I guess I'm in such incredibly good shape that I made it there in record time (with maybe a tiny bit of aid from a drone).

Just beyond this lake are the famous waterfalls of Trollstigen Norway, However, I was just as impressed with the scenery above the falls, which is much less-often photographed.

I got a bit lucky with this shot. It was taken near midday, but the clouds seemed interesting enough to try for a photo. But right when my drone arrived at the falls the clouds got much better for a very brief time. So thank you Odin and Thor!
