As a Colorado native, Narelle of Pixel This Photography discovered a passion for photography at a young age with so much beauty surrounding this state. After having been interested in photography for as long as she can remember, she discovered her love for landscape and fine art photography. From there she began dabbling in sports photography, starting with roller derby and quickly moving to worki

ng for a local newspaper where she covers sports with both words and photographs. With wanting to combine her love for landscapes with more human emotion, she began capturing weddings. There she creates an illustrative style that allows her to combine her photojournalistic work (gained from her newspaper background) with more traditional posing. Narelle is drawn to dramatic lighting, wide scenic backdrops (this is Colorado after all), high contrast black and white, and in-depth color. Allowing moments to happen naturally, she is able to capture true life emotions by documenting the scene as it takes place. In her spare time, Narelle enjoys time with her daughter and husband while camping, reading, traveling and discovering all that Colorado has to offer.

The Academy Chapel is an incredible piece of architecture and offers the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony.
