I started crying again this morning while editing a sneak peek for Amanda and Blake. Not for the beauty of nature, but for the bond I felt with these beautiful souls yesterday. We hiked in the sunshine. Blake and I shared a love of nature that ran deep in both of us. Amanda and I shared a connection I will never be able to understand, but they both felt like old friends to me despite only meeting over zoom calls until yesterday. Amanda burst out of the car and we hugged it out at the trailhead.
It clouded over when we reached the lake, but right when their ceremony began the sun came through and warmed us. Blake shared vows not just to Amanda, but to Amanda’s wonderful little girl. I was in tears with the three of them. It was not just a perfect setting, but a perfect evening of adventure and love.
