Now that all of the craziness that comes with the North American Gun Dog Association Nationals is settling down, it's nice to sit down and flip through the pictures of the four days and reflect. Meeting new people for the first time, catching up with ones that you only see once a year, saying hello again to the ones you saw the month before, it all makes the stories and the memories better. Walking the fields with the competitors, and learning new things about them, getting to learn more about the dogs that they love and love to brag about. It makes the Nationals event just that much more.
Now that I've gone through all the pictures I took, and I've gotten all the images out to everyone that wanted me to walk with them, I get to look back through and pick the favorites that tell the story of each day. And I can remember the story and discussion that we had during each walk through the field by just looking at the photos. Great times and great memories, and even better people. I'll keep posting sequences over the coming days, weeks, and months, but I'm already looking forward to doing it again next year, and getting to catch up on everything we've missed.
