Story time :)

Once upon a time, I had three very little children and we had just moved to new land that was 90% sticky mud. I had a puppy that I had named Birdie. I quickly realized that I was way over my mental limit and reached out to my neighbor to see if she knew anyone that would want a little goldendoodle.

Lo and behold, her sister had been talking about getting one, so within days Emily came over to pick up her new baby.

Birdie became her 'person' and they travelled all over the country together - hiking through national parks and living the dream life.

That was over four years ago - and this year Emily booked a session with Birdie. 🥲

So Birdie came back to our property that is now fully grassed and gardened and had the time of life with the girl that was absolutely MEANT to be hers.

Such a full circle moment and one of my favorite sessions ever.

I was blessed to have been a part of so many moments for the Leblanc family over the years and so heartbroken to hear of Katelyn's passing. A beautiful teacher, mom, wife, daughter, friend, and mentor to so many.

It’s not too hot for family sessions! We shoot right at sundown so there’s plenty of shade and sometimes a little breeze 👀. And your kids don’t even notice the weather when there’s chickens to chase.
