Squee!! Guess who's taking their pics??

🐾 EVER WANTED YOUR OWN MINI SPART?! 🐾

If you’ve ever stopped by the Doggie Bag, chances are you’ve met Spartacus. 😻 Our handsome Siamese store mascot cat has been part of the Doggie Bag family for many, many years... and at this point, we’re pretty sure he has a bigger fan club than the rest of us. 😂

Well, Spart fans, this one’s for you!

A little over a month ago, a Good Samaritan spotted a tied-up crate abandoned on the side of the road during a heat wave. Inside was a mama cat and her tiny kittens, all in desperate need of help.

Thanks to the quick action of their rescuer and lots of TLC from our SEKHS team, every single one survived. ❤️ And as if Mama hadn’t already been through enough, this incredible girl even welcomed an orphaned foster baby into her little family!

This picture was taken shortly after their arrival but now her babies are growing, thriving... and looking suspiciously like a whole bunch of Mini Sparts. 👀 Soooo, we're going to host:

The SEK Humane Society has partnered with Vivid Focus Photography for our 2027 Pet Calendar Photo Contest, and throughout September, YOUR pets will be competing for 13 coveted spots in our calendar!

The pet receiving the MOST votes overall will become the COVER STAR of the 2027 SEK Humane Society Pet Calendar!

The final tally is in: $550 raised for PHS Band Boosters, from 37 orders! 🎺 That's $200 more than last year, and it wouldn't have happened without every one of you who ordered photos this season.

And there's more good news: for the first time in at least 7 years, the band will be featured in the fall sports media guide, available at varsity football games!

We raised $463 for PHS Band this year — blowing right past last year's $350!

Huge thanks to every single one of you who ordered photos and made this our best year yet. 🎺

PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY, AUGUST 31 AT 6PM AT PITTSBURG HIGH SCHOOL.

u8 and u10 start at 6pm and u12 and u15 be there at 6:20pm. We would like to have ALL players there in uniform even if you aren't buying pictures.

Vivid Focus Photography will be doing the pictures again and will be sending an email to pre-order. If you don't see the email don't worry. We will have printed forms you can fill out as well.
