Okay, I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve watched SO many stranger sessions on social media lately and have officially become obsessed. 🥹 And I would really love to give one a go!

So… I’m looking for two SINGLE people willing to meet for the very first time in front of my camera. 👀📸

No talking beforehand. No social media stalking. You won’t know who you’re meeting until you show up!

I’ll plan a little mini date and guide you through the whole thing while I photograph it. You just have to show up, have fun, get to know a complete stranger and see if there happens to be a little chemistry along the way. 💃🏼🕺🏼

A little music, a lot of laughter, and the kind of love that feels completely at home. 🤎

Have you ever had one of those moments that made you question something you thought you were sure about?

Maybe someone said something that stuck with you. Maybe you failed. Maybe you compared yourself to someone else one too many times. Or maybe the thing you once loved just started to feel heavy.

That was the story I gave her for these photographs.

She wasn’t playing herself. She was playing a girl who had just walked away from a tough critique and needed to be alone. Someone questioning whether she was good enough and what her future with the thing she loved might look like.

She sits with it for a while.

And then something shifts.

She looks at the shoes beside her and remembers who she was before the criticism. Before the expectations. Before she felt like she had something to prove.

So she puts them back on.

And she dances.

Not for a score. Not for an audience. Not to prove anything.

Just because she loves it.

And weirdly enough, while I was telling her story through my camera, I realized there was a little bit of my own story in it too.

I’ve been dipping my toes into more cinematic storytelling sessions lately, and creatively, it has been SO much fun. Looking back at the work I created when I first picked up a camera, I can see how much I used to just... create. I experimented. I tried weird things. I photographed ideas simply because I wanted to see what they could become.

Somewhere along the way, I think I lost a little bit of that.

These sessions have been helping me find it again.

Creating a character. Giving her a story. Thinking about what happened before the first photograph and what happens after the last one. Letting an image be imperfect because it feels like something.

It feels a little bit like remembering why I picked up a camera in the first place.

And maybe that’s why I loved this story so much.

Sometimes we don’t need to become someone new.

Sometimes we just need to find our way back to the part of ourselves we forgot. 🤍
