Those who know me know how much I loved my work and how much I loved showing what and how I see with my camera...and know that it's been a bit of a tough year...I don't often feel like a photographer these days...there are physical limitations. But, here this morning are just a few things hopefully showing what it's like to be out and about again with a camera. Gear doesn't much matter but for those who follow--Leica SL2 and Leica Vario Elmar 100-400 with and without a 1.4x Teleconverter.

So, it's taken a bit of time to get here, and may take some time longer to produce, but here we are.
In case folks are puzzled by the constant postings about the US/Canada border re-opening, or not, I'm ecstatic to report that I am now and will be working with Blue Earth Alliance as a documentary conservation photographer on my long term global warming project, to be shot in Newfoundland in the coming year and a half. It was a leap of faith on their part to take on the project as I haven't shot a single frame yet, so the work shown here is what I've shot over the past 10 years that is representative of the issues to be explored in the coming 18 months or so in Newfoundland.
While most of the work to be shot will be in Newfoundland there is however some local work to be done here in the regoin, ie consumer, retail, distribution etc. I am honored and ecstatic to be working with Blue Earth Alliance and some awesome colleagues!
And I leave you with this one thought: Canada has reported in it's massive 445 page report and action plan on climate change that the northern regions are warming at 2x the worldwide average. 2x. Twice.
