🍂 **Thinking About Fall Family Photos? Now Is the Time to Book!** 🍂

Fall is my busiest seasons, and weekend dates are already limited! I reserve approximately half of my weekend availability for my **Bump to Baby maternity clients**, which means there are even fewer weekend dates available for fall family sessions.

If you’re hoping for a weekend, don’t wait. And if weekends are getting tight, take a look at your children’s **fall break or Thanksgiving break** calendar. Weekday sessions are a great option while the kids are out of school.

Keep in mind that fall sunsets happen much earlier, so session times will be earlier in the afternoon than they are during the summer.

And of course, I’ve made your session as easy as possible. 🤍 You’ll have access to my **curated client wardrobe, one of the largest in the Mid-South**, plus professional **in-house hair and makeup**. Just let me know you’d like hair and makeup when you book, and I’ll take care of scheduling it for you. No extra appointments to coordinate. No worrying about what everyone should wear. **Just show up and enjoy your session.**

A 50% deposit reserves your date, with the remaining balance due three days before your session.

One of the things that sets my newborn photography apart is the intentional way I pose parents with their new baby. 🤍
Parent posing is not something every newborn photographer does well. It requires experience, attention to detail, and an understanding of how to position multiple people in a way that feels natural, flattering, connected, and beautiful.
I put a tremendous amount of thought into every parent pose during a newborn session. From the placement of your hands to the connection between you and your baby, every detail matters. My goal is to create images that are not only beautifully composed, but also unique, emotional, and absolutely stunning.
As a Memphis newborn photographer, I don't believe parent images should feel like an afterthought. These are often the photographs that become even more meaningful as the years pass…capturing the tiny details of your baby and the overwhelming love surrounding them.

Some sessions are easy. Everyone cooperates, everyone looks at the camera, and every pose comes together exactly as planned.

And then there are sessions like this one. 😂

This sweet two-year-old was about to become a big sister, and she was, probably, one of the most uncooperative little ones I’ve photographed in my studio throughout my career. (I still love you though, E!)

But this is exactly where experience matters.

I know how to work with toddlers, adapt when things don’t go according to plan, recognize the moments in between the “posed” shots, and keep photographing until I find those genuine, beautiful images.

And somehow… we still created some AMAZING photographs. 🤍

I share this because it’s important to understand the value of hiring an experienced photographer, especially for newborn, maternity and family sessions involving young children. You can’t always predict how a toddler is going to behave on picture day, but an experienced photographer knows how to work through it and still deliver a gallery you’ll love.

And yes—experienced photographers typically cost more. There’s a reason for that.

You’re not just paying for a camera and someone who knows how to take a pretty picture. You’re investing in years of experience, posing knowledge, patience, problem-solving, creativity, and the ability to handle the unexpected when things don’t go according to plan.

Because sometimes the magic happens *in spite of* the chaos. And knowing how to find that magic is part of what you’re paying for. ✨
