To my 50s sisters. 👯‍♀️ 🔥🔥🔥 if I only knew how free and amazing getting older is! I wouldn’t have been so afraid of aging in my 40s. And I hear it only gets better. The best is yet to come!

I don’t want to be younger. I’m 54, and honestly, I love this age because I truly care less about performing and proving myself.

It’s more about leaning into what feels good and asking what do I actually want now?

One of the most meaningful things in my life right now is being in a community with other women 50+. It’s a dynamic group with multiple generations - some still have kids in high school. Some are retired, building businesses, and figuring out what comes next.

Being seen, supported, encouraged, and understood by women in this season of life has made my life better. It’s also shaped the work I do.

Helping women clarify what’s next, bring their personal brands to life, and step into a new chapter with intention doesn’t feel like work to me.
It is meaningful and gives me purpose.

Because we need to see more women over 50 doing work they love, ex.
starting businesses, changing direction, taking up space (YES!), and becoming visible again.

It is not too late; in fact, this is exactly the right time.
Can I get a hell yes?! ;)

It was an incredible evening and we thank Jen for sharing her story and inspiring us all to be who we truly are. Do it scared. Do it because we can’t hide who we weren’t to be. Do it because is life is too long to pretend and it’s too short not to share your true self.

It was an interesting week, working with interesting women. The richness in life comes from experience. How can we inspire the young when we are still trying to look them? And how can we teach the young that to grow, to live, love, nurture, lose, gain, experience should be something we are ashamed of? Let’s do better as my friends like to say!

When we went around the table to introduce ourselves at our V&V event last night one of the women said - “I’m a grad student”.

How cool is that?! This coming from an accomplished women that I don’t have enough space here to list.

This was more than being humble - it was proof that age doesn’t define us, we can change, shift and pivot and be students at any age.

We don’t have anything to prove - only to ourselves and we take all that experience and bring into what we are shaping now.

This is so cool and all of the women who attended last night always inspire me. Thank you for helpingbusbuilsthis community!

Our age is what makes us interesting. Our experiences professionally and personally are what make us unique. Don’t erase the lines - the information - embrace them and double down on it because the truth is we all agree and we all die. F the youth obsessed culture. It’s pathetic and quite frankly boring 🥱 All generations have their value and should be respected and celebrated.
