We have recently seen an increase in realtors using platforms such as AutoReel to create AI Generated Property Walkthroughs. It’s impressive what AI can do but there are some concerns when using this to help someone purchase one of life’s biggest investments…. A home!
Platforms such as AutoReel take your property photos and add movement and transitions to create the look of a walkthrough video in a matter of minutes… but since it’s generating depth and movement, a few problems can happen:
-Room and layout distortion
-Misrepresentation of how spaces connect
-Create transitions that don’t reflect real movement through the home
-Miss important real world details such as depth, flow, and surroundings.
AI-generated walkthroughs are great for social media views and quick content. They’re fast, engaging, and effective for grabbing attention online…. But they all look the same because it’s essentially a drag and drop template!
Our photos and videos, on the other hand, are built for something different—selling houses.
They’re designed to accurately represent the property, show true layout and flow, and give buyers a real sense of what it feels like to walk through the home. It’s not for views, it’s to make a lasting first impression to potential buyers.
